On Monday May 4, 2015 Professor Todd Bowen from Niles Township High Schools in Skokie, IL was presented with the Ordre des Palmes Académiques by Denis Quenelle, Deputy Cultural Attaché at the French Cultural Service in Chicago in recognition to his comitment to the teaching of the French Language.

The Embassy of France and George Washington University are announcing the 2015 Lafayette Climate Debates. The 2015 Debates will include public debates at French consulates in San Francisco, Atlanta, and Houston; online speech competitions in both French and English; and an international intercollegiate debate tournament in Washington, D.C., hosted by the Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication on April 18 & 19, 2015.
