HOW IT WORKS

Are you eager to explore a new culture? Already have a passion for France? Want to share your enthusiasm for French language and culture with your campus community?

The France on Campus Award is aimed at American student organizations eager to produce creative projects on their campus while introducing new audiences to French culture. Projects can encompass all fields, including (but not limited to) visual arts, design, film, food, journalism, music, photography, performance, journalism, publishing, science, and technology.

The Cultural Services will select ten winners to receive a unique package of networking, mentorship, and promotional support for their projects. The first and second place winners will also receive funding to implement their projects.

• The first place winner will receive a grant of $2,000
• The second place winner will receive a grant of $1,000

All ten winners will be invited to launch a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter and will receive the following benefits:

1) Mentorship support to develop the project. As leader of the selected project, you will be allocated two mentors:
• A Cultural Attaché from the Consulate General of France in your region will support you in implementing your project.

2) Promotional and networking support from the Cultural Services during project development and implementation phases.

3) Award certificate signed by the Ambassador of France to the United States following the completion of the project.

4) Invitations to selected events organized by the French Embassy and/or consulates for one year.
